Diesel reminisced about the original film, revealing how deeply personal it has become for him since Walker's passing in 2013. He shared a poignant memory from the set, saying, "The scene that you see, I see the moment Pablo told me he had a 1-year-old daughter."

"This is a film where brotherhood was introduced to our millennium, by myself and my brother Pablo. The person that was not going to let me come alone here to represent that brotherhood was Meadow Walker," he said.
