In a delightful twist, Damon recently spilled the beans about his stunt double for a pivotal scene in the film – and she’s a woman! During an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Damon recounted filming an intense sequence involving the mythical Lestrygonians. "When we did the force perspective stuff with the Laestrygonians… there were these stuntmen who were all seven feet, and then they got stunt men who were under five feet," he explained. He went on to reveal, "My double was a woman, a female stunt performer who had the greatest arms I’ve ever seen."

“When she came into the catering tent, it was the first time I met her. I went up and hugged her and thanked her for all the work she put in.”

More Than Just Muscles

Despite all the grueling workouts Damon endured, he humbly admits he can't take full credit for the impressive arms showcased in the movie. "It was almost 100% my arms in the movie, but you got to give it up where it’s due," Damon acknowledged, highlighting the incredible work of his stunt double.

Charlize Theron, who stars alongside him, couldn’t help but express her admiration during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "I've seen him without all of that suit on. He's incredible. Incredible," she said, adding with a laugh, "I'm like staring at him weirdly. I'm looking at his a** right now. I shouldn't do that! That's just wrong. He looked amazing, yes."
