"I'll never forget the look on her face... she was obviously on stuff, right? I could see it in her eyes," he shared, revealing the fear he felt seeing his mother in such a state.

"She wasn’t being a mum. She wasn’t the mum that I knew from being a little, little boy," Junior admitted, highlighting the deep impact on their young lives.

Sibling Support and Seeking Stability

The siblings, children of Katie's marriage to pop star Peter Andre, described how they leaned on each other during tough times. Junior explained how they managed to look after themselves, even learning to microwave meals. "We’d just look after one another quite a lot," he said, recalling the times they had to fend for themselves.

Eventually, Junior decided to move in with his father, recognizing the need for a healthier environment. "I got fed up. I clocked on that this was a very unhealthy environment and I needed to get out," he explained, grateful for his father's stability that helped him regain his sanity.

Princess's Heartfelt Memories

Princess, visibly emotional during the interview, shared how she coped with her mother's frequent absences. "She'd give me a blanket, and she sprayed all her perfume on it... that was my attachment to Mum," she said, describing the loneliness she felt after school, hugging the blanket and crying.

Despite the challenges, Princess expressed her desire to support her mother, saying, "I always wanted to be there for her." She emphasized the emotional struggle of feeling neglected, as her mother was entangled in her own problems.

A New Chapter for Katie and Her Family

Today, Junior praises Katie for turning her life around, acknowledging the healthier relationship they now share. "She helped herself by getting off the drugs and being a mum again," he said, cherishing the renewed bond with his mother. "It feels like I’ve got our mum back now," he added, expressing relief and love for the woman they have always looked up to.
