Harper Beckham might only be 14, but she's already setting her sights on the beauty world. According to her mom, Victoria Beckham, Harper is dreaming big – crafting plans for her own skincare empire and even considering a new hairstyle.
Victoria, during a chat on the “Aspire with Emma Grede” podcast, proudly shared her daughter's ambitious nature. "Harper is going to be 15 pretty soon. And I cannot believe it," she expressed. "I’m so proud of all of the children, but, you know, Harper, she’s very ambitious. She’s got big dreams."
"She said, 'I really want to create a brand because I know what I want, what I can’t find, and I don’t want other people to have to go through what I have been through,'" Victoria shared.
Harper recently pitched her mom with a full beauty brand concept, inspired by her own struggles with acne. Despite her young age, she came prepared with not one, but two PowerPoint presentations – one for the brand and another to convince Victoria on letting her get a perm.
Victoria joked about putting the perm idea aside, but she couldn't help but admire Harper's determination. "She really had a point of view," Victoria explained. Harper's passion for creating a skincare line stems from her inability to find products suitable for her acne-prone skin.
Growing up around beauty development, Harper has been involved from a young age – even sitting in on meetings and helping choose colors for product palettes. "She’s been sitting on my lap, taking part in beauty development meetings ever since she was little," Victoria revealed.
While Harper's dreams are budding, Victoria opened up about the challenges of balancing her career with motherhood. She recounted watching Harper's school play from outside due to work commitments, highlighting the juggling act she often faces.
Nonetheless, Victoria was deeply touched when Harper chose her as the subject of an inspirational school essay. "It was the sweetest thing when you see her actually write your name and say you," she shared. "I’ve been the best mom, but then I’ve also followed my dreams and passions, and that is now what she wants to do."
Though Harper's skincare brand remains in the concept stage, Victoria hinted it could become a reality. "I think she probably will," she teased, leaving us all eagerly waiting to see if Harper will indeed follow in her mom's entrepreneurial footsteps.
