For Hollywood icon John Travolta, fatherhood is a role he cherishes deeply. Recently, this proud dad was spotted at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, not for another blockbuster, but to support his daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, as she makes waves in the film industry.
The father-daughter duo was in attendance to celebrate their latest cinematic venture, 'Propeller One-Way Night Coach.' This film marks a significant milestone for both, with John in the director's chair, as well as taking on writing and narration duties, while Ella stars as a flight attendant. John had a clear vision for Ella's debut, aiming to introduce her to the world in a manner reminiscent of classic Hollywood icons Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.
“I had this plan of introducing Ella to the world as an adult in this very Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly kind of way,” John shared on Today, "and so I did everything I could to really set the scene for this kind of introduction and it’s made a big impact so far. I’m so proud of her."
Ella is the shining star among the three children John shares with his late wife, Kelly Preston, who sadly passed away in 2020 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. The Travolta family has faced its share of heartbreak, having lost their eldest son, Jett, in 2009. Alongside Ella, they also have a younger son, Benjamin, born in 2010.
Through triumphs and tribulations, the Travolta family remains a testament to resilience and love, with Ella now stepping confidently into her own spotlight, carrying forward the family legacy.
