Brad Pitt Caught in $75K Skincare Lawsuit

Brad Pitt's world just got a bit more complex! The Hollywood heartthrob is facing a strange $75,000 lawsuit from Beau D., a men's beauty brand, accusing him of trademark infringement and unfair competition. The drama unfolded after Brad's skincare line changed its name from Le Domaine to Beau Domaine in 2025. Beau D., known for its unique $56 cream for men's intimate areas, claims the new name is too close for comfort.

Brad, who launched his skincare venture in 2022 with the Perrins, a renowned French family, has been putting his passion for skincare into products featuring Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grapes. These ingredients boast anti-aging properties, adding a touch of luxury to his line. But Beau D., who trademarked their name in 2020, isn't thrilled. They're demanding $75,000 and a court order to prevent Brad from using the name Beau Domaine again.

"It's not about publicity or punishment," said Beau D. founder Brandon Palas. "It's about protecting the integrity of what we've spent years building and ensuring independent brands have the right to grow without being overshadowed or diluted."

Family Drama: Maddox Drops the 'Pitt' Name

But that's not all Brad's dealing with. Just a week after the lawsuit news, his eldest son Maddox made headlines by filing to legally remove 'Pitt' from his surname, choosing instead to go by Maddox Chivan Jolie. This move comes amid ongoing family tensions following Brad's split from Angelina Jolie.

The rift with his children reportedly began after a dramatic 2016 plane incident that led to his divorce from Angelina. His daughter Shiloh and others have also distanced themselves, opting to drop the Pitt surname. Brad's struggle to maintain a close relationship with his kids has been an ongoing battle.

Brad's Reflection on Fatherhood

In a candid 2017 GQ interview, Brad opened up about his desire to be a more present father. "I grew up with a Father-knows-best/war mentality – the father is all-powerful, super strong – instead of really knowing the man and his own self-doubt and struggles," he revealed.

He acknowledged the need to change: "I gotta be more. I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven't been great at it… They absorb everything. They need to have their hand held, and things explained. They need to be listened to. When I get in that busy work mode, I'm not hearing. I want to be better at that."
