Tom Holland's Sweet Revelation on 'Dish' Podcast

Tom Holland has everyone talking after he casually referred to Zendaya as his "wife" during a recent appearance on the "Dish" podcast. The buzzworthy moment came when Holland was asked who he'd take on a dream getaway to Greece. "I think probably my wife would be pretty good," he quipped, setting off a flurry of speculation about the couple's marital status.

Holland, known for his role as Spider-Man, added a playful twist by joking it would be odd to choose someone else, saying, “It would be a bit strange if I went, 'Sorry babe, I’m gonna take Matt [Damon] actually.'” The hosts, DJ Nick Grimshaw and chef Angela Hartnett, joined in the fun, imagining a trip to Mykonos with Damon.

“I think probably my wife would be pretty good,” Holland said, sending fans into a frenzy.

Rumors of a Secret Wedding

Holland's cheeky comment comes hot on the heels of a June Esquire interview where he seemed to confirm that he and Zendaya had secretly tied the knot. Asked about AI-generated wedding images, Holland hinted at a private ceremony by saying, “No, because they were all there.” Despite the frenzy, he kept mum on further details, stating, "That’s all you’ll get on that."

Promoting 'The Odyssey' and More Zendaya Mentions

This isn't the first time Holland has gushed about Zendaya while promoting the epic film "The Odyssey," directed by Christopher Nolan. During a chat with PEOPLE, Holland shared how he and Zendaya discussed the opportunity before he accepted the role. He humorously recalled her saying, "I’ll leave you if you don’t do ‘The Odyssey.’"

In a separate interview with Wired, Holland continued to joke about their relationship, cleverly responding to a question about Zendaya’s character, Athena, having a romantic connection with Damon's Odysseus. "No, because she’s married to me," he replied, prompting laughter from Damon.

A Love Story for the Ages

The love story between Holland and Zendaya traces back to their days filming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2017. They officially confirmed their relationship in 2021. Now, they're back on the screen together, starring in "The Odyssey," released on July 17, and soon to appear in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," hitting theaters on July 30.

It seems like this power couple is not just winning hearts on-screen but also making waves with their off-screen romance.
