Country music sensation Jelly Roll's ex-wife, Bunnie XO, is making headlines with the news that she'll be holding the keys to their lavish Tennessee estate following their split. The ex-couple, who announced their divorce on May 18, are parting ways on surprisingly good terms. During a candid chat on her "Dumb Blonde Podcast," Bunnie revealed that Jelly Roll, real name Jason DeFord, has generously handed her their $6 million Franklin, TN, property.
“I joke around with him, like, 'Well, you didn't take care of me in the marriage, but you're taking care of me in the divorce!'” Bunnie quipped, adding that the process was the "best divorce" one could have.
Bunnie, known off-stage as Alisa DeFord, isn't keeping the sprawling estate to herself. She plans to share the luxurious space with her two best friends, Meme Shahan and Hailee Clark, who will soon call the mansion home. The property, which boasts 7,700 square feet of living space, a resort-style pool, and a five-car garage, is set to become a new hub of activity, including a space for caring for animals.
Built in 2022, this estate is not only a home but a retreat, with its manicured grounds and private, gated driveway. The compound's large windows provide ample natural light, making it a perfect sanctuary for Bunnie and her friends.
On her podcast, Bunnie opened up about the reasons behind their split, candidly admitting that they "have never really been good at having disagreements." A heated argument on May 10 led her to suggest divorce, a decision she quickly reconsidered but found Jelly Roll ready to embrace. Despite the end of their marriage, Bunnie and Jelly Roll remain close, with Bunnie respecting his choice to move forward.
While Jelly Roll's future plans remain under wraps, he has another refuge – a massive 500-acre farm in Burns, TN, purchased last year. This rural oasis, complete with creeks and wildlife, offers him a new chapter as well. As for Bunnie, she seems set on turning her new mansion into a haven of friendship and fresh starts.
