Chet Hanks' Rescue Mission

Chet, determined to find the dog's home, took her to a vet for a microchip scan. The results? The dog had been missing for six months! Chet reached out to the owner, who was overjoyed to hear about her beloved pet, but decided that the dog, now named Queen, would be better off with Chet. "I found her by the side of the road; she was going to get hit by a car if someone didn’t step in," Chet shared in an interview, revealing the emotional reunion that could have been.

“So I’m like, I’ll give the dog a happy home,” Chet said, embracing his newfound role as Queen's guardian.

Queen's introduction to the Hanks family was seamless. She's met "everybody," including her famous "grandpaw," and has been showered with love. Chet first introduced Queen on Instagram on December 27, sparking a wave of support and intrigue. His initial plea for help in finding her owner quickly turned into a heartwarming update: "To whoever stole this dog from her original owner, you ain’t getting her back, she’s mine now with the owner’s blessing."
