Taylor Swift has done it again! The pop sensation dropped her latest music video for "Opalite" on Friday morning, and fans are buzzing. Available on Apple Music and Spotify, this video is packed with a lineup of celebrities that would make any Hollywood party jealous. Among the famous faces making appearances are actors Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, and Jodie Turner-Smith, along with singer Lewis Capaldi.
In a candid Instagram post, Swift spilled the beans on how this star-studded idea came to life. "The idea for the Opalite music video crash landed into my imagination when I was doing promo for The Life of a Showgirl," she shared. This epiphany struck while she was chatting with the gang on "The Graham Norton Show" back in October 2025. "I was a guest on one of my favorite shows, @TheGrahamNortonShowOfficial," Swift added.
"When we were all talking during the broadcast, Domhnall made a light-hearted joke about wanting to be in one of my music videos. He's Irish! He was joking! Except that in that moment during the interview, I was instantly struck with an idea," Swift continued, adding that she thought in that moment it would be "wild" if everyone on the show with her that day could take part in the music video.
Swift didn't waste any time turning her vision into reality. "To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90's with us and help with this video," she wrote. The video not only showcases these beloved celebrities but also offers a nod to her fans, featuring some familiar faces from The Eras Tour.
This isn't the first time Swift has intertwined her music with creative storytelling. "Opalite" is the second release from her 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," following the success of "The Fate of Ophelia." With her knack for blending nostalgia with modern flair, Swift continues to captivate her audience with every release.
