A Culinary Passion Born from Adversity

ATLANTA, Ga. – Celebrities across the U.S. are buzzing about Chef Jojo Davis and her sensational new line of seasonings, a venture that takes her culinary magic to the next level. Jojo's journey began at just 13 when cooking provided a refuge from bullying at school. "I was seasoning like I was 70," she recalls, finding solace and creativity in the kitchen.

By high school, Jojo was ready to chase her dream of owning a restaurant, even if it meant dropping out. Her mom, skeptical yet supportive, took her to the Dean, who challenged Jojo's plans without a diploma. But Jojo had conviction and, at 16, left school to pursue her passion.

Making Waves in the Culinary World

At 19, Jojo opened her first restaurant in St. Louis, and guess who showed up? Her old Dean, as one of her first customers. Jojo's reputation quickly grew, leading to an unexpected call in 2010 to cater for Tyler Perry's stage play. Despite hurdles, she seized the opportunity, even going into debt to make a lasting impression. "My team thought I was crazy," Jojo shares, "but I knew this was my moment." Her efforts paid off, earning praise and a $500 tip from Perry himself.

The momentum continued as Jojo's culinary skills attracted stars like New Edition, Toni Braxton, and The Isley Brothers. Her client list now boasts over 300 celebrity names, including Frankie Beverly, Chaka Khan, and Ice Cube, all won over by her heartfelt cooking.

Seasoning Up Success

Recently, Jojo relaunched her signature seasoning line, Jojo's Seasoning, inspired by a family moment when she helped her sister impress a boyfriend with her cooking. "The idea was born when my sister called for help," Jojo laughs. Despite launching during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jojo's seasonings have taken off, fueled by word of mouth and her growing celebrity clientele.

With dreams of a cookware line by 2026, Jojo is committed to inspiring future generations. "Stay on course and don't give up," she advises. To honor her mother's triumph over cancer, Jojo donates part of her proceeds to cancer research, adding heart to her flavorful legacy.

Jojo's seasonings are available for order now, and with each purchase, you support a cause close to her heart.
