Martin Kemp's Unexpected Farewell

The jungle drums have spoken, and another celebrity has been shown the door. Martin Kemp, the iconic Spandau Ballet star, became the sixth contestant to be eliminated from the gripping 2025 season of 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' The news broke during Thursday night's episode (4 December), when beloved hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made their way into the camp with the fateful announcement.

A Close Call in the Jungle

In a tense moment, Kemp found himself in the bottom two alongside actress Lisa Riley. The suspense was palpable as it was revealed that Kemp would be the next to leave the jungle. His departure followed shortly after participating in his very first Bushtucker trial, the nail-biting "Lethal Library." Despite being exempt from most challenges due to medical reasons, Kemp, alongside campmate Tom Read Wilson, managed to secure five out of seven stars by correctly guessing book titles from picture clues.

“I gave it my best shot, and it was an unforgettable experience,” Kemp shared upon his exit.

Reunion and Reflections

As Kemp made his exit, he was warmly greeted by his wife Shirlie, marking a bittersweet moment for the musician. His farewell came right after comedian Ruby Wax was unexpectedly voted out on Wednesday, and just days after model and presenter Kelly Brook's departure on Tuesday.

With the finale looming on Sunday, 7 December, the competition is heating up. Current frontrunners include rapper Aitch, the enigmatic Angryginge, and 'Celebs Go Dating' star Tom Read Wilson, who joined the show later this season alongside Irish podcast host Vogue Williams.

Last year, viewers watched McFly's Danny Jones take the crown as the king of the jungle. Who will follow in his footsteps this year? Stay tuned as 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' continues to air nightly at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
