Shar Jackson is all smiles about Brandy's sizzling new memoir, but don’t expect her to spill her own tea anytime soon. Despite her ex Kevin Federline and pop queen Britney Spears both diving into the memoir pool, Shar is staying dry.
We caught up with the actress and author while she was lending a helping hand at the Los Angeles Mission's Easter event. When asked if she's snagging a copy of "Phases: A Memoir," she revealed she's already placed her order. Brandy's book promises juicy tidbits, like her last chat with Whitney Houston and her teenage romance with Wanya Morris.
"I don't need to respond to all the claims out there," Shar shared, hinting she enjoys keeping her life's truths close to her chest.
Shar, who has a mental health book dropping in May, isn't tempted to pen a memoir despite her past with K-Fed. Their high-profile breakup in 2004, after his infidelity with Britney, has already been addressed in his 2025 memoir "You Thought You Knew," and Britney's own 2023 release, "The Woman in Me."
Shar seems quite content knowing the real story behind closed doors, even if the world doesn’t. She's more focused on her upcoming movie projects, with 2026 and 2027 set to be blockbuster years for her on the big screen.
While Shar's not chasing the New York Times bestseller list, she's certainly making waves elsewhere. With exciting film roles on the horizon, she's poised to shine in the coming years.
So, unless she surprises us, don't hold your breath for her name to pop up in the memoir section. Instead, look out for her cinematic ventures lighting up the screens soon!
