Scarlett Moffatt's Jungle Comeback: Not as Easy as Expected

Scarlett Moffatt, the beloved TV personality who charmed audiences as Queen of the Jungle in 2016, recently made her grand return to the 'I'm A Celebrity' camp. Rejoining the all-star spin-off, she was in the company of reality star Gemma Collins, Olympian Sir Mo Farah, and Pussycat Dolls' Ashley Roberts. However, the experience wasn't quite the harmonious reunion she had imagined.

Reflecting on her return, Moffatt confessed, "Because we’ve all done it, I was like ‘oh, this is going to be a doddle’!" But she quickly realized it was anything but. The pre-recorded series proved to be intense and challenging, with big personalities clashing in the jungle.

“It wasn’t as harmonious as the first time I went in, only because I think we were all such big characters," Moffatt shared. "If we’d all just got on the whole time when we’re such big characters, I don’t think anyone would have believed it, but I think it’ll make for good entertainment.”

A Star-Studded Camp and a Unique Social Experiment

Joining Moffatt in the jungle were familiar faces like hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, former football manager Harry Redknapp, singer Sinitta, comedian Seann Walsh, and many more. With such a star-studded lineup, the series promised plenty of drama and entertainment.

Moffatt described the experience as a "weird social experiment," saying she often forgot she was on camera. "Compared to Australia, I think in South Africa I forgot that it was being filmed," she admitted. The absence of Ant and Dec's daily presence added to the surreal feeling, making it hard to gauge public perception.

Audience Participation: A New Twist

This season introduces a fresh twist – a live grand final where the public will vote for the "ultimate legend 2026." The excitement kicks off at 9pm on April 6 on ITV1, with episodes airing every weeknight. This new element promises to keep viewers engaged and voting until the very end.

So, if you're ready for a wild ride with some of your favorite celebrities, 'I'm A Celebrity... South Africa' is the show to watch!
