Scarlett Moffatt is buzzing with excitement as she gears up to join the all-star lineup for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here in South Africa. The 35-year-old, who captured hearts on Gogglebox and was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2016, is ready to dive back into the wild with familiar faces like actor Adam Thomas and soap star Beverley Callard.
Scarlett can't wait to reunite with the beloved hosts, Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. Having worked with the dynamic duo on ITV's Saturday Night Takeaway, she reminisces about their kindness when she first moved to London. "When I first moved to London, they were so lovely and asked me what I missed most about being away from home," she shared. "They invited me round a few times to have dinner. They are lovely people."
“They say 'don’t meet your heroes', but when your heroes are them it’s OK. I can’t wait to give them a big hug.”
Scarlett is also rooting for reality star Gemma Collins, whom she describes as an "icon." Collins, who famously exited the jungle after just three days in 2014, is making her return to the series. Scarlett believes in second chances and can't wait to see Collins tackle the challenges once more. "She left early and I feel it is always good when people don’t finish something to then give them another chance," Scarlett said.
The former TOWIE star is among the many celebrities lined up for the South African adventure. With her larger-than-life personality, Gemma is sure to bring some drama and laughs to the camp.
Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas is also thrilled about the upcoming series, eager to reconnect with familiar faces from his 2016 jungle stint. "Life is for living and I’m really looking forward to experiencing the show all over again," he said, expressing his excitement for the new challenges ahead.
The show promises an exciting mix of celebrities, including Beverley Callard, Olympian Mo Farah, football manager Harry Redknapp, and more. Fans can look forward to a thrilling competition as celebrities vie for the coveted title of 'legend,' with the grand finale broadcast live from London.
I'm A Celebrity... South Africa is set to return to ITV in April, bringing sunshine and suspense to screens worldwide.
