Savannah Guthrie, beloved broadcast journalist and morning show staple, recently revealed that she's not immune to getting starry-eyed when in the presence of Hollywood giants. On the October 20 episode of the Today show, during a fun segment with Andy Cohen, she dished on which celebrity left her completely starstruck.
Guthrie, 53, confessed that the legendary Harrison Ford had her blushing like a schoolgirl. "Yes, a lot. A lot of times I get very giddy, like a school girl," she shared, adding that the 83-year-old actor made her feel like she was floating on cloud nine. "I mean, I literally, I feel like the whole interview was me trying to flirt with him ‘cause I love him so much. I feel he was receptive," she gushed.
“He was very nice. I look so happy in that picture because he was Han Solo, such a babe. I just love him so much,” Guthrie told Cohen, 57, as a snap of the Indiana Jones star came up on the monitor.
But Ford isn't the only star who has made Guthrie's heart race. She also mentioned Kevin Costner and Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran fame as other top-tier celebrities she loved chatting with. "I do like to get my flirt on," she laughed, admitting to enjoying those moments of playful banter.
Harrison Ford has graced the NBC morning show multiple times over his illustrious career, most recently in 2023, where he sat down with Guthrie to discuss the Yellowstone prequel series, 1923. It's clear that even seasoned pros like Guthrie can still have their fan moments – and who can blame her when it comes to these Hollywood heavyweights?
