Nancy has been missing since the night of January 31, and this latest message was received by the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff's Department, as confirmed by a Friday X post.

"Investigators are actively inspecting the information provided in the message for its authenticity," the department stated. Arizona-based news station KOLD also confirmed receiving this new note on Friday, adding another layer to this perplexing case.

"Those are the time frames we are looking at as we move forward," FBI special agent Heith Janke told reporters, referring to the deadlines mentioned in a previous ransom letter.

Unraveling the Ransom Note Drama

On February 3, KOLD reporter Mary Coleman told CNN about a ransom note received by both TMZ and KOLD. This note allegedly mentioned a deadline, a dollar amount, and specific details that only Guthrie's abductor might know. One letter outlined two specific deadlines: 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, in Arizona, and another on Monday, February 9. Despite these menacing deadlines, no contact has been made to discuss terms.

The plot thickened when authorities arrested a suspect for allegedly transmitting a false ransom demand. On February 5, Derrick Callella from Southern California was arrested in Hawthorne, California, near Los Angeles International Airport. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Arizona, Callella faces two federal charges related to the false ransom note.

Family's Heartfelt Plea for Nancy's Return

In a poignant Instagram video posted on February 5, Savannah Guthrie's brother, Camron Guthrie, made an emotional appeal to those holding their mother. "Whoever is out there holding our mother, we want to hear from you," he urged. Camron emphasized the family's desire for communication, stressing the need to confirm their mother's safety and discuss her return.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the FBI at 1-(800)-CALL-FBI. A $50,000 reward is offered for information leading to Nancy Guthrie's recovery or the arrest of those responsible for her disappearance.
