Rilo Kiley wrapped up their sensational 2025 reunion tour on a high note, lighting up the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles this past Saturday. The indie rock icons surprised fans with a special appearance by Waxahatchee's Katie Crutchfield, performing the beloved track "With Arms Outstretched."
Throughout the tour, Crutchfield and her project, Waxahatchee, opened for Rilo Kiley on the West Coast leg. Jenny Lewis, Rilo Kiley's frontwoman, often dedicated the song to Crutchfield, weaving a thread of camaraderie through their performances. This time, Crutchfield took center stage alongside Lewis, both passionately trading verses on the fan-favorite track while Crutchfield donned a shirt from Rilo Kiley's album, *The Execution of All Things*.
"Sharing the stage with Rilo Kiley felt like a beautiful full-circle moment," Crutchfield shared after the show.
The final show was packed with nostalgia and surprises. Rilo Kiley treated fans to a live performance of "Let Me Back In" from their *RKives* album, marking its first live rendition since 2007. The band's reunion, announced in February, delighted fans across nearly 40 shows since kicking off in May.
While the future of Rilo Kiley remains a bit of a mystery, fans have reason to celebrate as the reunion is set to continue into 2026. With upcoming gigs already scheduled in Barcelona, including a spot at the Primavera Sound festival, it seems the band's journey is far from over.
