Prince Harry is once again in the spotlight, but this time it's not for his own revelations. The Duke of Sussex is facing criticism over his response to Tom Bower's explosive new memoir, "Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family." According to a representative for Harry, the book crosses a line, labeling it an obsession and a targeted hit piece against him.
However, not everyone is sympathetic to Harry's plight. Royal insider Ingrid Seward has branded him "hypocritical" for his comments, especially in light of his own tell-all memoir, "Spare," which didn't hold back on airing the royal family's dirty laundry.
"He (Harry) needs to remember what he's said previously, because it may come back and bite him," warns Ingrid Seward.
Bower's book delves deep into royal drama, alleging that Queen Camilla once told a friend that Meghan Markle had "brainwashed" Harry. It also touches on concerns from Prince William and Kate Middleton about the rapid pace of Harry and Meghan's relationship, suggesting that Meghan was the mastermind behind it all.
These sensational claims have only added fuel to the fire of a family already in turmoil. Since the release of Harry's memoir, his relationship with his brother, Prince William, has been notably strained, with no signs of reconciliation on the horizon.
With Harry and Meghan having stepped back from their royal duties and moved to the United States, questions about their future roles within the monarchy linger. Harry is reportedly worried about losing his royal titles when William eventually takes the throne. Meanwhile, Bower's book continues to stir the pot, having hit the shelves last Thursday.
What do you think? Is Prince Harry's criticism of the book justified, or is he being "hypocritical" as some claim?
