The lifestyle, the friendships, and the roots she built there continue to anchor her life. “We have our life here,” Nicole—who shares daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, with Keith—told Variety in an interview published March 11. “I’m part of the city and community for 20 years. It’s my home.”

Despite the breakup, Kidman says the life she built in Tennessee remains steady. Nashville is where her daughters have grown up, where close friendships have flourished, and where she feels connected to a larger community.

One of those connections includes fellow actress and longtime friend Reese Witherspoon, who also calls Nashville home. Kidman revealed that the two had taken a long walk together on the morning of her interview, highlighting the supportive circle she has in the city.

Rather than dwelling on the past, Kidman shared that she is focused on moving forward with gratitude. “I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” she reflected. “What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect.”

Looking ahead, the “Practical Magic” star shared that she is ready to pursue experiences that go beyond film sets and production schedules. Throughout her career, Kidman has taken on a wide range of roles across blockbuster films, independent projects, and television series. Now she’s applying that same fearless approach to her personal life.

“I rally against limitations,” she explained. “And I’m like that in my personal life. This year and my next few years are for the adventures. I’m at a certain time in my life. I’m going to do the things I’ve always dreamt of doing that are not anything to do with work. Just to do with exploration.”

For Kidman, exploration doesn’t mean leaving Nashville behind. Instead, it means stepping into a new stage of life while remaining rooted in the place she calls home.
