Mickey Rourke is turning heads once again, but this time, it’s for his bold new look rather than his latest film role. The Hollywood icon recently made headlines after a California court ordered his eviction from his Los Angeles home. Now, the actor is making a striking return with a dramatic hair transformation.
The 'The Wrestler' star unveiled a reddish-brown hair color, a notable departure from his previous shades, drawing attention wherever he goes. Rourke completed the ensemble with a cowboy-inspired outfit, featuring a violet shirt, blue jeans, gray boots, a black belt, and stylish sunglasses, a fresh nod to his signature Hollywood edge.

Rourke’s eviction stems from months of disputes over living conditions in his rented Los Angeles home. According to his team, the actor stopped paying rent due to "unacceptable" circumstances, including unresolved rodent issues.
Rourke temporarily relocated to a West Hollywood hotel in January, but when the eviction case reached the Los Angeles Superior Court, he neither responded to the legal filings nor appeared in court. On March 9, the court ruled in favor of the landlord, officially terminating his lease.
In March 2025, Rourke had moved into a three-bedroom property built in 1926, initially paying $5,200 per month, a figure that later increased to $7,000. Over time, unpaid rent accumulated, reportedly surpassing $50,000. The landlord, Eric T. Goldie, issued a formal notice in December, requiring Rourke to settle the debt or vacate the property.
In the wake of the ruling, fans launched a GoFundMe campaign titled “Help Mickey Rourke Stay in His Home,” raising roughly $100,000. Despite the generous support, Rourke reportedly declined the funds, describing the initiative as a form of humiliation.
Now, free from the long-running housing battle, Mickey Rourke enters a new chapter, facing life after a challenging eviction while surprising fans with a fearless, reinvented style.
Mickey Rourke’s striking new appearance is the latest chapter in a decades-long journey of reinvention. Over the years, the actor has undergone extensive facial surgery, primarily to repair the damage sustained during his professional boxing career.
Multiple broken noses and a shattered cheekbone led him to seek reconstructive procedures, including more than five rhinoplasties using cartilage from his ear and ribs, along with cheekbone reconstruction and fat grafts.
Rourke has been candid about the ups and downs of these transformations. Early surgeries, performed by the “wrong guy” in his own words, left him almost unrecognizable, and he admitted in 2017 that some results made him look “like a monster.”
Subsequent corrective procedures, however, restored balance and confidence, with Rourke joking on social media that a 2017 surgery finally made him “pretty again.”
