The Psychic's Prophetic Coffee Warning

It's not every day a psychic swoops in to change your caffeine habits, but pop star Meghan Trainor knows that story all too well. In a candid chat with People magazine, Meghan revealed that she quit coffee after her husband, Daryl Sabara, had a fateful session with a psychic. "The psychic never met me," Meghan shared. "But she told Daryl that I was using coffee like speed, and it wasn't doing me any favors. I was floored – how did she know that?" Meghan wasted no time and dropped her coffee habit on the spot.

"I was drinking it all day to just survive," Meghan confessed. "Then I would crash and be buzzing at night to sleep."

Health Wake-up Call and Tour Preparation

Beyond the caffeine jitters, Meghan uncovered that her "adrenals were shot" and her hormone levels were off, leaving her feeling less than her best. "I wasn't feeling great," she admitted. "I eat healthy, I work out, but I realized I was overworking myself." The bold move to quit coffee was tough, but Meghan insists it was life-changing.

With her health back on track, Meghan is gearing up for her Get in Girl Tour, kicking off in June 2026. Juggling her music career and motherhood with two young sons, Riley and Barry, is no small feat. "No sleep, power through and thrive," is Meghan's motto as she navigates the tour life. From amusement parks to soundchecks, Meghan balances it all with a smile.

Tour Life with a Twist

This upcoming tour marks Meghan's first in eight years, and she's ready to hit the road with her family in tow. In a previous 2024 interview with USA TODAY, Meghan shared her tour routine with her kids, including the help of an incredible nanny and her husband, Daryl. "We give the kids a bath in my green room and cuddle before I go on stage," she said. "Then they head to the bus to sleep while I'm performing. We're learning as we go – next time, even more hands on deck!"
