Duchess Meghan Markle is stepping back into the spotlight, but this time on her own terms. Gracing the cover of Harper's BAZAAR's December 2025/January 2026 Art Issue, she shares her journey of self-discovery and authenticity. "There's no such thing as perfect," Meghan candidly reveals in her interview. "I, too, get to make mistakes... there's also not a lot of fun in trying to be perfect. So why try to do that if you want to have fun?"
In the past two months, Meghan has been living her best life, attending Paris Fashion Week, cheering on her home team at the World Series with Prince Harry, and rubbing elbows with the Kardashian-Jenner clan at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash.
A major highlight for the Duchess is her Netflix holiday special, "With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration," set to release on December 3. This venture wouldn't have been possible without her bold decision to step away from royal duties back in January 2020. "I like the community of work and the connection," Meghan shares about her passion for her career. "I think a lot of it is in my DNA… when people start to see your work ethic and really understand how dedicated you are to things."
Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have taken the reins of their narrative, launching the Archewell Foundation and securing deals with major platforms like Spotify and Netflix.
Meghan also opens up about her relationship with Prince Harry, describing how he "loves me so boldly, fully." She continues, "No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he's always going to make sure that he has my back."
“You have someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness. I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me," Meghan shares, adding this joy translates into every part of their life together.
Tennis legend Serena Williams, a longtime friend of Meghan, also chimes in on their cherished bond. "We love a good mimosa," she says with a laugh. "We could talk for a hundred hours, and it feels like 10 minutes go by."
The two met over a decade ago at a Super Bowl party, instantly connecting over their shared dry sense of humor. "I think that’s why we hit it off for no reason at this silly football thing," Williams reminisces. "We've been lifelong friends ever since."
As Meghan Markle continues to blaze her own trail, she remains grounded by her family and friends, embracing a life filled with love, laughter, and, of course, a good mimosa now and then.
