The most exciting time of the year is here again! No, it's not Christmas – it's the return of I'm a Celebrity! And let's face it, when Ant and Dec are back in the jungle, the festive season has officially begun.
This year's 2025 line-up has been teasing fans for weeks, with celebs landing in Australia and crafting creative excuses for their visits when snapped by paparazzi. But now, the wait is over! The star-studded line-up is finally revealed, featuring big names like Martin Kemp and Jack Osbourne, ready to brave the Australian wilderness.
Among the brave souls confirmed is Eddie Kadi. But who exactly is he? Eddie Kadi is a 42-year-old British-Congolese comedian, presenter, and actor, renowned for his work with BBC. He's graced the stage at the O2 arena in 2010 and has performed worldwide since.
Eddie is no stranger to reality TV, having competed in the 21st series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2023. Paired with Karen Hauer, they were the fourth couple to bow out. But now, he's ready to take on the jungle's wild challenges!
“Raising a daughter is a beautiful thing, and my daughter is extremely excited. It’s going to be a story for her every single day. And if I were to be crowned ‘King of the Jungle’, my daughter would be the proudest daughter in the world," Eddie shared.
Eddie admits he's dreading the creepy crawlies and the trials, but he's determined to show a different side of himself. "People think, ‘Oh Eddie, I have never seen him unhappy or serious.’ They will see I can have serious conversations. I’m a warm person and a good listener," he says.
He's been prepping for jungle life by intermittent fasting, trying to get used to the scant food supply. "I am not too great on rice and beans. It takes me back to my university days. I like flavour, I don’t know how I will survive," he quips.
Eddie dreams of having Jackie Chan as a fellow camper. "He would smash every single challenge and trial," Eddie muses, imagining the legendary conversations they could have.
