The "Love is Blind" fandom is in shock as one of its cherished love stories has come to a sudden halt. Alexa Lemieux, a standout personality from the Netflix hit, shared the surprising news on Instagram this Wednesday. After tying the knot on the show's third season, she and Brennon Lemieux have decided to part ways.
In her heartfelt post, Alexa, 31, expressed, "After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared." The couple, who have a beautiful 1-year-old daughter named Vienna, have navigated their journey with love and optimism.
"We entered this relationship with love and optimism, and we leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way," Alexa continued.
While their romantic journey as a couple comes to an end, Alexa assured fans that both she and Brennon remain supportive of each other. They are committed to co-parenting Vienna and handling this new phase of their lives with compassion.
"We kindly ask for privacy as we move forward and focus on our individual paths while keeping our precious daughter as our top priority," she concluded in her message.
With Alexa and Brennon's split, the success rate of "Love is Blind" Season 3, filmed in Dallas, hits a disheartening zero. They were one of just two couples who said "I do" during the season. Earlier this year, the other couple, Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton, also announced their separation.
The latest season, filmed in Denver, notably had no couples making it to the altar, marking a first for the series. Fans are left pondering the complex nature of love and reality TV as they bid farewell to yet another romance.
