Kim Kardashian knows how to throw a party, and her son Psalm’s 7th birthday was no exception! On May 14, Kim gave fans a sneak peek into the Pokémon-themed celebration via Instagram, complete with all the bells and whistles any young Pokémon fan could dream of. From trading cards to Poké Ball-themed balloons, the party was a colorful spectacle. To top it all off, Pikachu made a memorable appearance – or at least, Mason Disick did, dressed as the beloved character, delighting the Kardashian-Jenner kids.
Kim kept it casual yet chic in a white sleeveless bodysuit and blue high-waisted jeans, letting the kids shine in their themed outfits. Psalm was the star of the day in a gray Pikachu T-shirt and black basketball shorts. His sister, Chicago, matched the vibe with a faded Pikachu tee and jeans, while their older brother, Saint, sported a relaxed gray ensemble.
The day was packed with activities that kept the little ones entertained. There was a giant Pokémon trading card photo station where Dream Kardashian and Psalm posed for adorable snapshots. The party also featured trading card handouts, a lively dance session with a DJ, and some fun in the family pool. The festivities wrapped up with Psalm cutting his birthday cake, surrounded by family and friends.
Kim has been quite selective about sharing moments from Psalm's life on social media. In a 2025 episode of 'The Kardashians,' she explained her decision to post less about her youngest child. “It is really funny. When you have your first kid, you post everything, then your second kid a little less, and your third kid a little less. It is just kind of what happens with everything,” she shared.
“I feel like people don’t really know Psalm, but he is the smartest, silliest little boy. He is a total go-with-the-flow kid. He never says no or goes against anything. He is a dream child and is the most independent. He loves to dance, and he would never have a tantrum. He has the cutest voice you have ever heard.”
Kim also touched on the challenges of protecting her kids from public drama, especially following her divorce from Kanye West. She emphasized the importance of shielding them from the chaos: “I feel more stressed probably just because I have to protect my kids. Everyone around can handle [the drama], but I want to protect my babies. They are going to know things. They’re going to grow up and see,” she explained. “So, my job as a mom is to just make sure that at a time when that behavior is happening, is just to make sure that they are protected.”
