On March 30, Judge Steven A. Ellis ruled that Kardashian and Jenner "have not met their burden" to justify the sealing of the settlement. The court found that the plaintiffs failed to provide "admissible evidence" proving that revealing the settlement terms would harm them. The arguments made by their legal team, which claimed potential "substantial harm" to Kardashian's "privacy interests" and "private business affairs," were labeled as "too vague, speculative, amorphous, and unsupported."

“Plaintiffs have presented no admissible evidence that disclosure of the settlement agreement and its terms would cause them any harm,” stated Judge Ellis.

Though Kardashian didn't get the full privacy she sought, there was a minor victory – her bank account details will remain confidential.
