Kim Kardashian has once again found herself in the spotlight, but this time it's not for her fashion choices or reality TV antics. The "All's Fair" actress recently revealed that a brain scan showed "low activity" after she was diagnosed with a small brain aneurysm. This health scare was highlighted during the Nov. 27 episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians," where Dr. Daniel Amen pointed out "holes" that indicated her brain's front part was "less active than it should be."
Dr. Amen, a celebrity psychologist, explained that this low activity could be linked to chronic stress, especially as Kim was preparing for the California bar exam in July 2025. "With your frontal lobes, as they work now, it would be harder to manage stress and that's not good for you," he told Kardashian, who was accompanied by family friend Scott Disick. Despite not being overly anxious or depressed, Kardashian expressed concern over feeling extremely sleepy.
"That just can't be. It just can't. I'm not accepting (that)," Kardashian said. "I got to get on a plan to really figure this out because I have (expletive) to do this summer."
On a brighter note, Dr. Amen assured Kim that her risk of developing Alzheimer's disease is low and praised her for her positivity. "I have a beautiful brain," Kardashian confidently stated in her confessional.
Following the initial revelation, Kim gave an update on "Good Morning America" on Oct. 28, confirming she underwent further scans at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. "Everything works out," she reassured viewers, encouraging them to stay tuned.
In earlier episodes, Kim hinted that her "little" aneurysm might have been triggered by the stress of her divorce from rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. Despite these challenges, she remains determined to overcome.
In addition to her health concerns, Kim is tackling another challenge – passing the California bar exam. After her recent attempt in July didn't go as planned, she took to Instagram to share her determination to continue pursuing her legal career. "Well… I'm not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV," she quipped, referencing her role in Ryan Murphy's series "All's Fair."
Kardashian is all in for another try, emphasizing, "No shortcuts, no giving up – just more studying and even more determination." With unwavering support from her fans, she remains motivated, saying, "Falling short isn't failure – it's fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let's Go!"
