Kelly Ripa gave fans a magical glimpse into her Manhattan world on Sunday, sharing a video from her stunning brownstone home as snow blanketed the city. The Instagram clip featured charming gold and red lanterns hanging from tree branches and fairy lights twinkling around the trunks, offering a peaceful contrast to her usually bustling life.
The star's balcony, adorned with festive greenery and red Christmas baubles, set the stage for the upcoming holiday season. As the soothing sounds of the Vince Guaraldi Trio's "Skating" filled the air, Kelly's winter wonderland came to life.
“We've moved several times in our lives, but no matter where we go, for me, this is my forever home,” Kelly shared, expressing her deep connection to their NYC abode.
While Manhattan saw its first major snowfall with one to three inches of snow, Kelly's view from her $27 million residence was nothing short of a serene escape. Meanwhile, nearby areas like Long Island and New Jersey faced heavier snow and travel chaos, with airports like LaGuardia and JFK experiencing disruptions.
Kelly and her husband, Mark Consuelos, have called this townhouse home for several years, raising their three children, Michael, Lola, and Joaquin, within its walls. The pair's journey through NYC real estate began in an Upper West Side apartment, leading them to their current luxurious haven.
Their palatial home boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, an elevator, and a rooftop terrace, all inspired by the elegance of a "beautiful hotel" in Europe. Mark once told Architectural Digest, "It's sexy, it's peaceful, it's quiet. That was the feeling we were going for." Kelly, on the other hand, has made it clear she never wants to leave.
With their children now grown and living independently, Kelly and Mark's townhouse serves as a tranquil retreat. Reflecting on their empty nest, Kelly shared, "The first [child moving out] is like a bit of a shock... Third one, for 24 to 48 hours, you're gonna be like, 'Oh my gosh, what have we done now? Now it's just us.'" With their forever home, the couple has found a perfect sanctuary to enjoy their life together.
