"Making that decision allowed me to fully live in the pursuit of God’s purpose for my life. Alcohol silenced my intuition, blocked my dreams and chased my circulating fears of complacency," she shared.

At 45, Jessica reflects on how choosing faith over fear has driven her. "Today I am clear. Today I am driven by faith," she expressed. "Both fear and faith are something that we feel and may not see, I’m so happy I chose faith over fear. It was not in the fight that I found my strength, it was in the surrender," she concluded.

This candid revelation comes on the heels of her recent separation from Eric Johnson. Jessica admits that sobriety has been a blessing for her songwriting. She told People, "The moment I started drinking too much was when I started writing music in 2016 and it was making me go to places and feel sorry for myself." She acknowledged that alcohol was deceptive, convincing her she was braver with it by her side.

Meanwhile, Jessica is also making waves in the fashion industry with her latest venture – a lingerie line at Walmart. On Instagram, she teased, "When I’m wearin' somethin' sexy underneath, my days and nights are always filled with a secret surprise." Her new line aims to make everyone feel confident and beautiful.

Jessica's journey to wellness isn't just about sobriety. In her memoir, Open Book, she shared struggles with body image and diet pills. Overcoming these challenges, she embraced a healthier lifestyle. Her trainer, Harley Pasternak, shared that Jessica walks at least 6,000 steps a day, gradually building up to 14,000. Her workout routine includes 45-minute sessions three times a week, focusing on sustainable health rather than extreme diets.
