The 56-year-old superstar, known for her singing, acting, and entrepreneurial skills, is stepping into what she calls a personal "happy era" following her recent split from Ben Affleck.

Their relationship – a much-publicized rekindling of their early-2000s engagement – wrapped up more than two years after they tied the knot in a spontaneous Las Vegas ceremony. Now, Lopez is finding peace in focusing on herself, her family, and the next exciting phase of her career.

“It's so nice right now. I'm so happy. It's the best. I just feel really good right now,” Lopez shared in an upcoming interview.

Finding Comfort in Solitude

In her chat with Juju Chang on ABC's Nightline, Lopez was quick to dismiss any notions of jumping back into the dating scene. When asked if she was "dating up a storm," she humorously shot down the idea. "No! No I'm not! God forbid, I don't want to ruin anything!" she exclaimed.

Instead, she's savoring a rare moment of independence, a feeling that once terrified her. "That was a scary thing for me when I was younger. I didn't know if I could do that. I was always really afraid to be alone," she confessed.

Reflecting After the Affleck Era

Lopez's reflections come after a challenging time following the end of her marriage to Affleck. Known fondly by fans as "Bennifer," their relationship reignited during the pandemic and culminated in a brief marriage.

During this period, Lopez consciously chose to slow down and heal instead of diving into work or another relationship. "I had to stop everything and I took a year off," she revealed, highlighting her decision to cancel her This Is Me... Live summer tour to focus on herself and her family.

Looking Ahead

Despite the personal ups and downs, Lopez remains a busy bee professionally. She's gearing up for a new Las Vegas residency while also preparing for a major family milestone. Her twins, Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, are heading off to college.

"I am a mom of graduates this year who are going to college," Lopez proudly stated. "I am a showgirl, an entertainer, an actor, an entrepreneur."

Through the rollercoaster of four marriages and various life experiences, Lopez stands firm in her gratitude for the present. "I am happy. I am healthy. And I am grateful," she expressed, surrounded by love as she embarks on this new chapter.
