Jennifer Lopez, the superstar who’s been dancing on the floor and into our hearts, recently opened up about the rollercoaster ride of raising her twins, Emme and Max. These two, now 18, are shared with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. As they wrap up their high school days, J.Lo is taking a moment to reflect on the wild journey of balancing motherhood with her skyrocketing career.

During an honest chat on the SmartLess podcast on June 15, the multi-talented icon shared her gratitude for the life she’s built. "Now, I can really look at my life, appreciate it for what it is and what I’ve created for myself and be really happy," Lopez said. Her kids have done her proud by snagging spots at their dream colleges, all on scholarships. "I was like, ‘You did that s--t all by yourself,’" she told hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, emphasizing her pride in how much her twins have accomplished with "very little help."

Life After Marc Anthony

Lopez and Anthony were a power couple for seven years before calling it quits in 2011, finalizing their divorce in 2014. Despite going their separate ways, they’ve maintained joint custody of their twins. Anthony, who was already a father of four before marrying Lopez, has continued to grow his family.

In a twist of fate, Anthony and his current wife, Nadia Ferreira, welcomed their son Marco in 2023 and have another on the way, marking Anthony's eighth child. "I’m enjoying every second of it," Anthony shared with E! News, reflecting on his ever-expanding family.

Blending Families and Embracing Change

Meanwhile, Lopez has had her share of blending families, having been married to Ben Affleck for a couple of years. This union brought together their children from previous relationships, creating a unique family dynamic. Lopez expressed in 2023 how emotional yet fulfilling this transition has been, describing it as "all your dreams coming true."

Even though Lopez and Anthony have moved on, their bond remains strong. "We’re great friends. And we’re parents together," Lopez once shared on The View in 2017. It’s a testament to their commitment to co-parenting their twins with love and mutual respect.
