It’s no secret that Jennifer Lawrence loves to stir the pot – and her latest confession is no exception! The Oscar-winning actress recently shared a laugh on The Graham Norton Show, revealing she "obviously" quizzed her Die My Love co-star Robert Pattinson about Donald Trump's 2012 Twitter outburst. Back then, Trump famously advised Pattinson to ditch his then-girlfriend Kristen Stewart after her cheating scandal made headlines.
During the show, host Graham Norton asked Lawrence if she and Pattinson bonded over their blockbuster franchise roles – her in The Hunger Games and him in Twilight. Lawrence, 35, couldn’t help but dive into the juicy details of Trump’s unsolicited advice to Pattinson. "Not really," she said with a smirk. "I mean, if you think I didn't ask him about Donald Trump tweeting about the breakup with Kristen, obviously [I did]."
“It was, like, three days after the photos came out with her with, you know, whatever. Young people make mistakes," Lawrence chuckled, as the audience erupted in laughter. "And Donald Trump was like, 'He better leave her! He can do better than her!' going on a huge rant.”
For those who need a refresher, back in 2012, Kristen Stewart's affair with Rupert Sanders, director of Snow White and the Huntsman, was splashed across tabloids when intimate photos of the two surfaced. Trump, never one to shy away from drama, took to social media to share his thoughts, suggesting Pattinson could do better.
Fast forward to today, Pattinson is engaged to Suki Waterhouse and the couple welcomed a daughter in March 2024. Meanwhile, Stewart has found her happily ever after with Dylan Meyer, tying the knot in April 2025.
Lawrence also shared a hilarious story about an evening with Pattinson that ended with him delightfully munching on food she retrieved from her trash. After wrapping a nearby project, Pattinson swung by Lawrence's house, where she was having a cozy movie night with her girlfriends.
"Rob is one of the girls. He wants to gossip. He is one of the gals," Lawrence joked, recalling how she invited him over. Despite being a "great father," she admitted Pattinson brings out her maternal side. "He comes in and I give him a hug, and he's like, 'You have any food? I'm so hungry,'" she laughed, recounting how she ended up serving him a meal straight from the bin.
Pattinson was unfazed by the unconventional dinner, even asking for seconds. Lawrence's story had the audience in stitches, proving once again that when it comes to entertainment, she never disappoints!
