“4 years old today. After 2 late-term losses, we thought we were done. Thank God you knew better,” James expressed in his heartfelt post.
In his emotional message, James praised Jeremiah's vibrant personality while expressing regret over not always being the father he aspired to be. He acknowledged the challenges posed by his health struggles, which sometimes left him too weak to fully engage with his son. Despite these challenges, James feels immense gratitude for Jeremiah's presence in his life, noting the joy and love his son brings.
“I’m sorry there have been spells where I couldn’t be the father I would want to be for you… but know that watching you reveal yourself to us has been one of the greatest joys of my life,” James candidly shared.
