Her child was under the weather. "I remember Sandra Bullock refused to shake my hand," he said, adding a sense of disbelief to the story.

“She thought that germs were going to be from her kid’s mouth, into her hand, into my hand, and then I’d be ill with Sandra Bullock’s kid’s flu.”

James went on to describe the high-pressure environment of a press junket, where every second counts. "They're horrible," he said. "Yeah, four minutes. Go and speak to Meryl Streep." But it was his encounter with Bullock that left a lasting impression. "I went to shake her hand, and she said, ‘I’m not shaking hands today, my kid’s not very well.’ What?”

Despite the unusual experience, Greg expressed a wish for more honesty from the actress. "The way I’m seeing that, she could either be being really nice and she’s trying to protect you from the kid’s illness," he mused. "Or she could be really bitter. And be like, ‘someone’s made my kid ill, so I’m not shaking strangers’ hands again’."
