5 Feb - Emma Maembong is owning the headlines as she candidly admits to being the celebrity seen living it up at a club in Sarawak. The actress, whose real name is Fatimah Rohani Ismail, took to social media to address the frenzy surrounding a viral video capturing her night out.
Emma expressed her bewilderment over the hype, questioning why anyone would bother to obscure her image in the clip. "It's simple. I went to Sibu for a music video shoot. Coincidentally, DJ Kidd was there, so I went to see him. I went there myself, I was not wearing a mask or a hat because I wanted to watch him spin," she revealed.
"It wasn't something I was hiding from. I let it happen, so no need to blur my face and make guessing games. I was there happily and there were lots of people protecting me," she added.
The DJ in question, DJ Kidd, isn't just any entertainer; he's been romantically linked to Emma since early last year. Back in August, the actress openly confirmed her close connection with the music personality, further fueling public interest.
Emma didn't shy away from the cameras, even waving to the people recording her. She knew she was being filmed and embraced it with open arms. "I was there happily and there were lots of people protecting me," she continued, dismissing any need for speculation.
Emma's time with DJ Kidd has been a recurring theme since last year, with the duo frequently spotted together. Notably, Dato' Seri Vida, another prominent figure, is also a fan of DJ Kidd's work, adding another layer of intrigue to the mix.
While the video may have sparked a whirlwind of gossip, Emma's straightforward approach has certainly turned heads, proving she's not one to shy away from the spotlight.
