Orhan Awatramani, the social media influencer better known as Orry, has broken his silence about the ongoing tension with Bollywood starlet Sara Ali Khan and her family. In a candid interview, Orry revealed that his public comments are rooted in personal experiences and unresolved issues with Sara's mother, Amrita Singh. At the heart of the rift lies a call for an apology from Singh, which Orry believes is essential for any reconciliation.
“Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be ok with the trauma her mother put me through and I just don't think I can do that anymore,” Orry stated.
The drama has been playing out on social media, with Orry unfollowing Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan. According to Orry, this move was a long time coming. "I unfollowed Sara a while ago.. and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years," he shared. The influencer explained that the fallout isn't just about social media optics but stems from deeper personal reasons.
Further stirring the pot, Orry made light of Sara's acting career, claiming it was all in jest. "I don’t really think I said anything wrong about her," he noted, adding that the internet frequently jokes about Sara's movies. This, he argued, should not be taken seriously.
While the tension has been palpable, Orry hasn't completely closed the door on peace. He hinted that an apology from Amrita Singh could pave the way for healing. "If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future," he suggested, leaving the ball in Singh's court.
As speculation swirls about the true nature of Orry's relationship with the Khan family, one thing is clear: the situation remains as complicated as ever, with fans eagerly watching for the next chapter in this celebrity saga.
