The Australian jungle got a bit spicier on Sunday night during 'I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!' when singer Deni Hines and 'Married at First Sight's' own 'Cyclone' Cyrell Paule went head-to-head. It all started when Paule threw shade at Hines' musical career, questioning her cred as a performer. Now, if you know Deni Hines, you know she doesn't take such jabs lying down. "I'm a singer," she fired back, clearly irked by Paule's challenge. But Paule wasn't backing down either, cheekily asking, "Can you sing though? Like, like, really, really sing?"

A Spoonful of Sass

Hines, not one to hold back, responded with a quip while stirring up a meal. "Do I need to hit you in the head with a spoon right now? I've sold 55,000 records. I guess I can sing," she retorted, adding a dash of sarcasm. She continued with a hint of irony, "An ARIA Award winner, 55,000 records. No, I can't sing." Paule wasn't convinced and asked for a demonstration, but Hines wasn't having it. "No. Get out of here and listen to my shit, no," she said, shutting down the request.

Confessional Drama

In a confessional moment, Paule reflected on the exchange, bringing Hines' mother, Marcia Hines, into the mix. She mused, "I think she really did get offended that I did not know who she was. And I don’t know what the issue is, because a lot of people came in here not knowing who anyone was. It’s not my fault that your mum’s a bit more remembered than you are. It’s not my fault that your mum’s the one I remember."

Feisty Finale

Later, the tension ramped up again when Paule commented that Hines might correct her again. Hines playfully called Paule "feisty," and Paule embraced the label, agreeing, "I am very feisty. I am very, very feisty." Hines, pointing out their age difference, advised, "55 year old, you’re 36. Watch yourself!" But Paule wasn't fazed and shot back, "I know, you have a lifetime of knowledge but yet you ain’t acting like a mature lady, eh? I said it, I said it, girl. You’re boring me. Please don’t talk to me."

The drama, however, had a heartwarming twist. The two eventually patched things up when Hines approached Paule with an olive branch in the form of a hug, proving that even in the midst of a storm, peace can be found.
