The 39-year-old singer recently opened up about her decision to stop using deodorant, admitting on the Walking The Dog podcast that she “generally stinks.” Her reason? A concern about the chemicals in deodorants. This revelation came after host Emily Dean complimented her on her scent, to which Church replied in surprise, “Do I? That’s surprising – I never smell nice.”

But the surprises don't stop there. Church also shared that she's given up shaving for at least 18 months. She encourages women to make their own choices with body hair, whether it's dyeing, shaving, or letting it be. "For me, I’m just like, nah," she added, relishing the "contradiction" of pairing elegant dresses with her "really hairy legs and heels and nails."

Fans of Charlotte Church might have recently seen her on the reality show Celebrity Traitors, where she joined the likes of Stephen Fry, Kate Garraway, and Alan Carr. In a memorable first episode, contestants had to dig their own graves – a task Church embraced with enthusiasm due to her love of "being in the soil." As she told the Uncloaked podcast, "Being in the soil is one of my favourite things to do – so I had no problem digging my own grave."

Although she didn't get to "experience getting out a Traitor," Church reflected on the show's intensity. "The intense nature of the game... becoming progressively more pronounced, that would have been difficult for my little sensitive self," she admitted.
