Channing Tatum is clearing the air about those long-standing rumors that he once shared a living space with reality TV star Jax Taylor. The buzz began when Taylor repeatedly claimed they were roommates during their early modeling days in New York City, a story he first shared on 'Watch What Happens Live' back in 2013.
During an appearance on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live on October 6, Tatum addressed these claims head-on. The 'Blink Twice' star, now 45, firmly denied ever living with Taylor. "Absolutely not," he stated. "I don't think I ever roommated with him." Tatum explained that, while he did live in a model apartment with several other aspiring models, he doesn't recall Taylor being one of them. "They’ll throw you in a model house that has just like a bed," he shared, adding a humorous note about being kicked out after a fight with one of the other residents.
“I got kicked out of my first model house. I got in a fight with one of the guys.”
Despite Tatum's denial, Taylor hasn't backed down from his story. According to Taylor, the two met when he moved from Miami to New York in 2002 after signing with Ford Models, where they allegedly shared a cramped model apartment. Taylor even recounted how Tatum's career skyrocketed following a Mountain Dew commercial. Taylor, who recently announced he won't return for Season 3 of 'The Valley' to focus on personal matters, has yet to respond to Tatum's comments.
Meanwhile, Tatum is busy with his own ventures. He's currently promoting his latest film, 'Roofman,' which hits theaters on October 10. Fans can also look forward to his return as Gambit in 'Avengers: Doomsday,' slated for release on December 18, 2026.
