Cardi B's Treadmill Triumph

Cardi B has never been one to keep her plans under wraps – she shouts them loud and clear, often while strutting confidently toward her next big move. This week, that move took place on a treadmill. Just a month after the arrival of her fourth child, the rapper is back in the gym, sweating it out and proving that tour season waits for no one.

On December 13, Cardi, 33, took to Instagram to share a clip of herself walking briskly on a treadmill. Decked out in black from head to toe, she was all about business. "I told y’all imma be getting ready for tour! Anytime! ANY PLACE," she captioned the video, leaving no doubt that postpartum rest has its limits when the stage is calling. "Y’all got y’all tickets?" she teased, reminding fans that her tour is just around the corner.

“We’re in Saudi Arabia, baby, I told ya,” she said, referencing her upcoming concert overseas. “I told y’all after I give birth, I’m getting ready for the Little Miss Drama tour and it’s two months away.”

From Postpartum to Performance Mode

In the video, Cardi was clearly in her element, addressing fans as if the treadmill was her stage warmup. After finishing her walk, she hopped onto a stationary bike while delivering a signature Cardi monologue. "Everyone always asks me, ‘Cardi, how did you lose all the weight after the baby? What did you do? You look great," she said with a laugh. "I’ll tell you how I did it: Stress!"

With her trademark humor, she segued into a holiday-themed promotion for her tour. "It is Christmas, it is Kwanzaa, it is Hanukkah, and get your tickets now because in January don’t be hitting me up like, ‘Cardi, there’s no tickets left.’” Cardi’s multitasking of cardio, comedy, and promotion is classic Cardi.

A New Baby and a New Chapter

Cardi welcomed her fourth child, a son, on November 4. This baby boy is her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, the NFL star she's been dating since 2024. Cardi shares three older children with her ex, Offset, while Diggs has two daughters from previous relationships.

Last month, Cardi opened up about her postpartum mindset in a heartfelt Instagram post. She shared photos of her post-baby body and reflected on the evolution of her life. "My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season," she wrote. "Starting over is never easy, but it’s been so worth it!"

She listed what this new season includes: new music, a new album, a new baby, and a renewed commitment to herself. "One more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve."

Me vs. Me Energy

Perhaps the most powerful line from Cardi’s reflection was: "This next chapter is Me vs. Me." That mindset is clearly driving everything from her gym sessions to her tour prep. "I’ve started prepping for tour, getting my body right, getting my mind right," she wrote. "There’s nothing that’s gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a lifetime!"

Cardi has been open about how supportive her relationship with Diggs has been, especially during moments of anxiety and pressure. Speaking on CBS Mornings earlier this year, she shared how grounded she feels despite juggling an album rollout, pregnancy, and public scrutiny. "I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong," she said. "I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby."

She also credited Diggs with helping her through moments of panic and self-doubt. "He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong," Cardi explained, adding that his support helped her push through intense stress during her album rollout.
