Ariana Grande is turning the page on her 'Wicked' era, and fans everywhere are eagerly anticipating what's next from this powerhouse performer. After wrapping up her role in 'Focker In-Law' earlier this month, she's hinted at a music tour that she describes as possibly her "last hurrah." Amidst all these changes, Grande is also taking the time to reevaluate her connection to music. In a candid chat with Nicole Kidman for Interview magazine, she revealed, "I’ve just been healing my relationship to music and touring over the past couple of years."
“I spent a lot of time redoing my system when it comes to making music,” Grande continued. “With Eternal Sunshine, that felt like a very different experience for me.”
Exploring her acting skills has evidently provided Grande with a fresh perspective. "I think the time away from it helped me reclaim certain pieces of it and put certain feelings that maybe belonged to my relationship to fame, or the things that come with being an artist, in a box somewhere else," she shared. This introspective journey has allowed her to take "baby steps towards healing" her musical journey, while her time spent playing Glinda has been instrumental in building her confidence to tackle these challenges.
While Grande expresses gratitude for her pop career, she acknowledges it hasn't been without its struggles. "It held some traumas for me before," she admitted, "I feel those dissipating, and that is such an extraordinarily beautiful thing." As she moves forward, Ariana Grande seems ready to embrace whatever comes next, with a newfound strength and clarity that promises to shine through in her future endeavors.
