Life in the jungle is full of surprises, and the latest shocker is Alex Scott being the first celebrity to pack her bags and leave. The football star's exit from "I'm a Celebrity" has fans buzzing, but the real talk of the town is who wasn't there to greet her.
Scott's high-profile girlfriend, singer Jess Glynne, was expected to meet her on the iconic jungle bridge. However, Glynne was in London, charming audiences on the daytime TV show "This Morning." When the topic of wedding bells was tossed her way, Glynne quipped with a smile, "Why do I have to ask her? It's a weird one, innit. I mean, you never know who will ask who, but..." Instead of Glynne, it was Scott's best friend, Regan Coleman, who was there for the reunion.
"I will get married to her, just waiting for her to ask, Rubes! I know my forever is with her," Scott had shared in the camp, revealing her dreams of marrying Glynne someday.
After her exit, Scott spilled the beans on her jungle life to presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly. Dubbed "Saltbae" by cheeky Dec, she revealed her secret stash of salt, which she smuggled into the camp. "This one is so wet. I saved it for you guys. I grabbed a load when I stopped on the way in," she confessed, laughing off the soggy remains.
The footballer also dished on the little dramas that unfolded, like the time Ruby Wax swiped some sweets. "There are times where you're so close. You don't want to be that person that starts the argument," she admitted. But perhaps the biggest jungle faux pas was Martin Kemp leaving the toilet seat up, a crime that didn't go unnoticed by Scott.
Scott has her eyes set on Shona McGarty as the potential queen of the jungle. "I think Shona being named queen of the jungle. It would change her and give her the confidence to take on life," she shared, reflecting on the bonds formed during the show.
With live trials returning after six years, chaos ensued with some stars facing disqualification. As the competition heats up, viewers can catch "I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!" every night at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX, and STV Player.
Stay tuned for more jungle antics and surprises as the remaining celebs battle it out for survival.
