Celebrity siblings Alec and Stephen Baldwin found themselves in a dramatic car crash on Monday morning, but both have assured fans they're doing just fine. The incident unfolded in East Hampton, New York, where the Baldwins were spotted exiting a battered Range Rover. Thankfully, the brothers confirmed that no one was injured in the mishap.
Later that evening, Alec took to social media to share details about the crash, explaining how a massive garbage truck forced him into a split-second decision. "This morning, I was in this car accident. The guy cut me off in a truck, big garbage truck – I mean a garbage truck the size of a whale," Alec recounted. "To avoid hitting him, I hit a tree. I hit a big fat tree and crushed my car, my wife’s car."
“My wife’s car is pretty smashed up. Big tree, big fat tree. I’m going to L.A. to see my family, can’t wait – going out to California to gather my family together,” Alec shared, light-heartedly making the cuckoo sign.
Although he felt "bad" about the damage to his wife Hilaria's car, Alec expressed gratitude towards the local police for their assistance. He assured fans that both he and his brother were unscathed.
Stephen Baldwin's representative also confirmed the brothers' well-being, stating, "Stephen is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured. He appreciates the concern and he can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well.”
In the wake of the collision, the East Hampton Police Department has yet to comment, but the brothers' relief and light-hearted approach to the incident have been well-received by fans and followers alike.
