The courtroom drama unfolded as Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ciny Pánuco concluded that Pitt's team didn't meet the necessary criteria to override attorney-client privilege. "Pitt has not met his burden," the judge declared, shutting down the request for disclosure. Although Jolie's bid for $33,692.50 in sanctions against Pitt was denied, the ruling remains a significant win for her.

“This is an important victory for Ms. Jolie,” said her attorney, Paul Murphy, highlighting the decision's significance.
